We held Brynna's birthday party over the weekend at a new local park. Cousin Rachel and Brynna had fun racing down the slide; Brynna loved all the attention she got while opening presents; and she was so excited when she blew out all the candles on her HSM cake. Almost all the kids from her class were there along with some family friends and I hope great fun was had by all!

Dipping Skinny
So today we went to our friend Lisa's house for her son's birthday party. It was a pool party filled to the brim with pre-teens. We didn't bring Keelee or Brynna's swimsuits b/c the water was going to be too cold. Do you see where this is going yet?
Keelee told her Grandma Sandie that she wanted to leave the party early b/c the pool was just trouble. Anyway, a little while later Keelee comes running into the house saying "She's crying! She's crying! Someone pushed her in the pool!" However, she won't tell us who is doing the crying. Genius I am I asked her if it was Brynna and she said yes.
I went flying out of the house with Grandma right on my tail to find Papa putting Brynna's socks back on. To make a long story short...
...Brynna jumped in the pool in her birthday suit because she just had to go swimming. Papa watched her as she stood in all her glory and jumped onto a raft, got out only to jump in again.
Where was a camera when you needed it? And her father was about ten feet away from all this action and didn't see any of it.
Ahhhhh, we do love our Brynnie.
